Brady Firsts: Trying to pull himself up

Brady has been trying so many new things. This is Sunday morning (May 31, 2009) before church and I walk into the living room to check on him. He has pulled himself up to a kneeling position holding onto the coffee table and teething on it. It is the first time he has pulled himslef up this far.

He still has very blue eyes. All the other kids eyes changed to hazel but his have not. He might keep blue eyes like his dad. His hair is growing straight up like Whitney's hair did at that age.

Ready Set Swim!!!

The kids are in our Neighborhood swim team. This is their first swim meet. We have a few videos attached of the kids swimming. Bailey couldn't swim across the pool when she started practicing and now she is competing. Ben has improved lots this year and has alot of strength. Garren has improved his backstroke tremendously. What a great life skill to swim well.

Bailey's adult teeth are coming in nicely don't you think?

Family Outing on May 16th: Battleship Texas

We went on a family out to see the Battleship Texas. Jennifer has been working weekends for 4 months and with her starting a new job she will not have to work every weekend. So we decided to have a family activity.

By end of mornign Whitney was done!!!

Ben's Tech Projects for 7th grade

Ben has made several things in his Tech class this year. He has had alot of fun making these things. I think his mom has benefited the most with a new clock and cutting board. What a great job he did on them. Close-ups below

Brady and Whitney learning new things

Brady and Whiney have been growing and learning so many new things. Whitney is feeling like a big girl swinging on the big swing as she had to give up hers to her brother. She feels a little overwhelmed when the twins (Jennifer's friend Shellys boys) come and try to jump on the trampoline with her (see video clip). Brady learned to crawl this last week as well. I would say on May 6th he had the army crawl figured out (a sample video below). He is 7 months old. A lot younger than Whitney was crawling- she took her time at about 10 months. He has alot of siblings to keep up with and it is fun to see Whitney and Brady's relationship develop. I have never had 2 kids so close in age but they definatly have a bond developing.
