San Jancinto Monument

We went on Saturday to the San Jacinto Monument. It is 15 feet taller than the Washington Monument. It stands on the battleground where Santa Anna, President of Mexico, surrendered to Sam Houston. Winning independence for the Republic of Texas.

Birthday Party for Two- Mostly Whitney!!!

Whitney and Jennifer's Birthday Party.
We Celebrated our Birthdays on the 18th (Jennifer's Birthday) but on the 17th (Whitney's Birthday) we both had to work. I just wanted a clean house for my Birthday so we all cleaned together (really what more does a mom want), went to Costco and bought the cake below (my kind of baking), and went home. It was 7 pm. Still not having a gift for Whitney (better planning next year) Jennifer ran to the store while Bryant bathed the kids. When she got home we had a late Birthday party. If you listen to the birthday song Bailey says "and Mommy" -I was completely OK with her being the star of the day.

Whitney 2 Years Old!!! Where has the time gone....

Mmmmmmm....Cake!!!!

Can I open this ...after one try she figured it out and was so quick with the other gifts. She will be a pro by Christmas.

She received a Loving Family Dollhouse with a few accessories.
