JEN YOGA- My New Business Adventure

Well I have decided to start a business. I am just being patient with the path but I am excited. I have been working Saturdays at the hospital for years now and I feel a really strong feeling to be home on Saturdays. It seems weekdays fly and then I crave the time on "family day" and I am heading to work at 6 am and entering the house about 9pm ready to head to bed. Time for a new path. Brady enters kindergarten and I want to be home when the family is home.

I was so blessed to get my Yoga Certification and now I hope to add more classes to my schedule. I have fallen in love with Yoga. It helps me in my personal life and I love teaching. I have been teaching at the Church and in my home for the last 3 years. I would like to continue a free beginner class at the church but add more classes for kids, families, higher level classes, teen classes, mindfulness classes, and do training in businesses and hospitals (I am working on a Yoga Nurse Certification right now) in yoga to improve health, nutrition, and stress reduction/management.

My business name: Jen Yoga

It was an amazing feeling. I have never done anything like this.

Pajama Yoga

Whit and Brady get ready for bed so well when we do pajama yoga. Today I had some things to do so I found a YouTube video. Whitney begs to do yoga. Maybe she will be my co teacher by seven. I actually see her getting stronger and more flexible.

Dismantling the Front Flower Beds.

Today Bryant and the kids (I did help lay some sod) tore up the front flower bed. We are simplifying our front yard. The strawberry patch idea was a failure. The grass and weeds in Texas go up under the ground and entangle everything. It is a pain to weed especially because strawberries grow the same way. So it became and weed and strawberry plant mess. 6 hedge plants were pulled out and hibiscus and a few other perennial plants Bryant came home with are being put in. Brady was so cute. They picked out all the flowers for me. He got to pick out an Easter Lily for me as well. He was with Bryant all day helping him. Garren took lots of dirt to the back yard and even Bailey did lots of shoveling. Thanks everyone for your hard work.

Bennett went to LDS Prom tonight. He was busy with all the last minute details and off he went to the Britch's house for pictures and dinner. So pictures will be posted soon. I enjoyed a quick trip to the store to get a last minute shirt to wear.

Popsicles to cool off with. Put down lots of sod. In Texas the grass puts off shoots. No seed in this wonderful St. Augustine grass. Kids sat down on the grass and said nice grass. NOT. Go up north to sit on some nice grass.
 To cool for pictures

Bryant was wonderful to make the bed for me and then to dismantle the bed for me. I know it was a pain to put in and take out but I appreciate his help. I thought it would work out but I think simple works better with our weed problem. Put some mulch and have a few perennials.

Stitches

Garren got six stitches at the ER last night. He was not able to study for his English test so he stayed home today from school to recover... study for his test! He was roughhousing with Brother Fisher at mutual and Garren made friends with basketball court.
