My Uncle Steve is a truck driver. He had woke up with a tooth ache and that morning he just happened to be driving to Houston. We talk that morning and he says he will be arriving that evening and asks if we can get him into a dentist. We just happen to have a dentist in our ward at church. He was not working the next day and would not be in his office. He said to stop by his house that evening. We went to his house and got a prescription of his abscessed tooth, filled his prescription, and he spent the night. Next day he was back on the road again. Friday he was coming back and stayed the weekend. But that evening his alternator went out in his truck. He got it fixed and made it to our house Saturday evening instead. Above is a picture of us as we were taking him back to his truck Sunday evening. The kids sure love Uncle Steve. I just wish I would have taken a few more pictures.
I think he must have been saying his prayers. I don't think you could by "happenstance" be on your way to Houston and we have a dentist in our ward. And get treated that same evening, back to work the next day, and have no dental insurance.
Nice picture. Jennifer, you look small next to your Uncle Steve. Steve prays and fasts a lot for himself and others. He has a good spirit.
