Father & Sons Campout: Lake Summervile, Nana & Papa D.J. move back to Idaho

It has been a long time since my last post. I make my posts into books in the past and I saw the kids looking through on the previous books and they were laughing and talking about memories. I realized how important it is to record these memories because they are so easily lost and forgotten. So I am making it more of a priority.

Friday night was the Father & Son's Campout at Lake Summerville. Bryant took the 3 boys. Brady was sooooo excited to go camping. I had to work on Saturday, My mom & D.J. were spending Friday night at our house but they were packing up to move back to Idaho (Yes, after a few months of having family here, they decided Texas was not for them and decided to move back to Idaho.), and Bailey was sick. She missed 4 days of school with cough and fever. So Whitney and Bailey went to the Stonley's house till "The Boys" got home.

On 4/22 (Monday evening) we said goodbye to my mom and D.J. We fed them and sent them off in their loaded Penske truck to brave an oncoming storm in the north (She let me know today that summer had hit- and they wanted to leave Texas...lol).

Bailey looked like she was going to cry last night (4/22) during Family Home Evening. We were watching some Mormon messages on LDS.org and Bryant noticed her. Shortly after he asked her if she wanted to sit on the swing in the back yard and talk. She said yes. They spent the next hour talking. It was a comforting sight to see her snuggled up next to her dad and sharing her feelings. She was having a hard time letting Lilly go. Lilly is Nana's dog and she is very devoted to Bailey. As Bailey had spent the last 6 days sick, they have spent about every second together. They have always had a special bond. Not ready to get a dog yet but maybe in the future???
