We took a vacation to Galveston Beach for 2 nights. We camped at Galveston State Park and slept in our tent trailer. Maranda had never been to the beach. She is so good to the little kids. She has a beautiful smile and a sweet spirit. At night when it was time to read scriptures, Whitney and Brady would beg to have Maranda do the reading. It was so sweet.
Bryant took a half day off work and after he came home we finished packing and headed to the beach. On the way some people were waving us down on the freeway. They said we were losing our stuff. We pull over on the busy freeway. We lost a boogie board and then later realized we lost a poll to our umbrella. So after re-tightening everything down we set back off on our trip.
We set up camp and set off to spend the afternoon playing at the beach. Maranda would never go very far in the water as she was too afraid of sharks. She did sit in chairs in the water and play in sand that day. The next day she warmed up to the water. The water was a great temperature. She had to get used to seaweed, jelly fish, fish that would swim by, and dirty water (the water is dirty from the Mississippi river sediment).

We spent the evening playing apples to apples.
