Vacation 2010 Day 1: The 23 hour Drive

Friday July 2, we started our journey from Houston, TX to Touquerville, UT. Bryant was starting a 4 week training class at work the following Tuesday. Since Jennifer had to take time off from work, she took the kids on a vacation to her dads. Here are pictures at 4 am ready to leave on our first long trip since moving to Houston. The kids even have some room to spread out in our 12 passenger van. Jennifer couldn't sleep and at 3 am got ready to go. We were on the road by 4 am. We traveled all day and arrived 23 hours later at Jennifer's dads. It worked out well. Bryant is used to getting up early and Jennifer is used to staying up late.
