They are growing up to fast. Bennett will be a senior this year and Garren enters high school. Brady being in preschool for another year makes me feel young.
The fact that I hobble about with a knee scooter makes life interesting. Can't put anything away ("kids pick this up" & "help cook this" are regular words in my vocabulary). I don't know how people did crutches. A knee scooter is an amazing invention. I have had to go a lot of places this week to get Bennett & Garren ready for Philmont, driver's license, ortho appts, & dentist apts. I can go pretty fast around stores on my scooter. I almost have my kids trained not to forget me in the van, open doors for me, etc.
Hi Jennifer. I love your family picture. You should friend me on Facebook. Sorry to hear about your foot surgery. Hope you are well soon. I can't believe Bennet got his driver's license. That is crazy. Mindy is engaged and I would like to send you an invitation. Could you please send me your address? My daughter Melanie lives in Houston and we were down there Memorial Weekend for her oldest son's baptism. We went to Galveston Beach and loved it. The water was so warm. I couldn't believe how far out you could go in the water and it still wasn't too deep. We were next to the ferris wheel and other rides on a pier. Not sure which beach it was. Dick and I just spent July 6-12 at Philmont for a Priesthood Leadership Conference on Scouting. The Young Men General Presidency and the Primary General Presidency were there to provide a lot of training to Stake Presidencies. We had a great time.
