Week 1: We made 33 dozen cinnamon rolls. We passed signups for donations around church and to the neighbors. I was In a boot on my leg before surgery to roll cinnamon rolls out that day. This day we had Maranda and Bailey rolling out cinnamon rolls.
Week 2: Made 43 dozen Cinnamon rolls. I have now had my surgery and the day before I had a hard cast put on. I had to keep it elevated or it would start throbbing. Bennett ad I rolled out all the rolls. My mom made all the dough. We actually got much faster this time. Bryant came home from work and they would start delivering rolls and collecting money. We sold them for $10 a dozen.
They earned about $700 in donations for the project. We actually were able to raise some money for Garren's eagle project that he is going to do in the fall. He will need some more money still...so we may have to make more...MOM COME HELP AGAIN :)
Frosting the cinnamon rolls: 2 cups powder sugar, 4 oz cream cheese, 1/4 cup butter, 1 tsp vanilla, a little milk till smooth but still thick. So good on a warm roll!!!
